As part of an exchange project between French galleries from the Marais quarter of Paris, and New York galleries from Brooklyn, Momenta Art, Chez Valentin Gallery and Four Walls Projects are pleased to exhibit the work of Nicolas Moulin. His work, Vider Paris (To Empty Paris), is a video projection presenting the streets of Paris meticulously erased.

"I worked on Vider Paris in a very rational way, as if I was part of a public engineering firm. I removed all traces of life, I dismantled the urban furniture and kept the architecture. It is a fiction without narration. I do not tell a story, I just present the facts. These images allow an open fiction, creating a powerful projection".

Nicolas Moulin lives and works in Paris. He has exhibited in France and internationally. This is his first solo exhibition in New York and we are pleased to present his work.

Four Walls Projects is intended to set up conditions for the exchange of ideas primarily through panels, projects and one night exhibitions. Projects often involve artists working with non-artists; writers, gossip columnists, hand models, psychoanalysts, and priests in order to expand the cultural rhetoric
