Momenta Art presents itssixth raffle benefit to support its ongoing mission to exhibit the work of emerging and underrepresented artists. A $150 ticket guarantees you a work of art and entrance for two to the silent auction and raffle drawing. Tickets are limited! Please call 718.218.8058 in advance to reserve. Tickets for the silent auction are $100 which includes admission for two to silent auction and benefit party. All raffle participants are encouraged to participate in the Silent Auction at no additional fee.

CONDITIONS of SALE for SILENT AUCTION
All net proceed of the sale of artwork will go to support the programs of Momenta Art, a 501(c)3 organization. Each work carries an estimated market value obtained from reliable sources, but no representation of warranty as to the actual resale value of any work auctioned is made or implied. The estimated value is intended as a guide to assist you in your bidding. No art will be sold at a price below the opening bid.

All bidders must register to obtain a bidding number before placing any bids. Registration and bidding is closed out at the gala promptly at 7 p.m. Opening bids are indicated on the bidding form for each piece. Minimum increments to raise bids are set as follows: Current bid- Minimum Increment
$200-$2,000 -$50
$2,001-$4,999 -$100
Over $5,000- $250

The bidder who has placed the highest bid at the close of the Gala gets to purchase the piece. The buyer's name and address will be provided to the artist whose work they purchase.

Payment: Cash and checks are accepted as payment for artwork.

Pick Up and Delivery:
Purchasers who attend the gala are strongly encouraged to pay for and take their purchases home with them that same night. Wrapping of the artwork is provided. All lots not removed on the night of the benefit may be picked up at the gallery by appointment. If you require having your art shipped to you , we will do so at your expense. We are not responsible for damage to art work during transit.

Tax Laws: Momenta does not charge any tax on the sale of art. A buyer is entitled to a tax deduction on purchase of artwork only to the extent that his or her payment exceeds the market value of the work received.

Please note the buyer is purchasing the work of art "as is." All sales are final and are considered to be a legal contract between the buyer and Momenta Art. Momenta reserves the right to return artwork to the artists if it is unclaimed by the buyer one year after the date of the benefit, even if the work has been paid for.
