Momenta Art presents its eleventh annual benefit and twentieth year anniversary to support its ongoing mission to exhibit the work of emerging and underrepresented artists. A $175 ticket guarantees you a work of art and entrance for two to the auction and raffle drawing to be held at White Columns on April 29. Tickets are limited! Some of the artists participating in this year's benefit raffle will include Jesse Bransford, Carl Fudge, Chitra Ganesh, Rico Gatson, Rutherford Chang, Dan Graham, Michelle Handelman, Oliver Herring, David Humphrey, Elisabeth Kley, Sarah Oppenheimer, Rebecca Quaytman, Amy Sillman, Jude Tallichet, Fred Tomaselli, and Momoyo Torimitsu.

There will also be an auction featuring works by Karen Arm, Cheryl Donegan, Omer Fast, Ben Grasso, Virgil Marti, Walter Martin and Paloma Muñoz, Wayne White, and Dan Zeller.

Momenta will present over 110 works by both emerging and known artists on display at our gallery in Brooklyn, NY. During this period, tickets will be sold for $175 each until all the tickets are sold. Then the work will be re-installed at White Columns located at 320 W 13th Street in Manhattan, April 25 through April 29, where the auction, raffle drawing and party will be held on April 29.

After the completion of the auction, the raffle will begin. The first randomly drawn ticket will give the holder first choice of one work displayed. The drawing will continue until all tickets are drawn.

Momenta Art is a not-for-profit exhibition space whose mission is to promote the work of emerging artists through two person shows, allowing artists separate project rooms and the distinct opportunity to present a substantial body of work. For most of these artists, this is their first opportunity to exhibit in New York outside of a group show. For each exhibition we publish a newsletter which lists other local galleries while providing further information about  the work exhibited in our project rooms. This newsletter also contains a map of art spaces in the area, so for those unfamiliar with Williamsburg, Momenta is an excellent first stop in Brooklyn.
