Los Angeles - based artist Dewey Ambrosinošs untitled installation consist of a large spandex fabric black hole, cast silicon garbage trucks, an abstract Plexiglas pizza sculpture, and stop-motion photographs from an explosion. These objects together form a strange frozen narrative like a stop motion view of a thought process literalized. Dark humor and indecisiveness underscore this arrangement of volatile iconography. The objects seem to be both in binary opposition and symbiotically connected.
